unveiled the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025,
scheduled to commence on February 20. The squad blends experienced players with
emerging talents, aiming to reclaim the prestigious title.

Jasprit Bumrah's selection comes after he experienced back
spasms during the final Test against Australia. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar
expressed confidence in Bumrah's recovery, stating, "You don't have to
talk about quality when it comes to Shami. We picked him for T20Is just to get
him up to speed."
Kuldeep Yadav also makes a return after addressing his groin
injury, adding depth to the spin department. The inclusion of Yashasvi Jaiswal
highlights the selectors' vision for the future, rewarding his domestic
performances with a potential ODI debut.
Preparation and Fixtures:
Before the Champions Trophy, India will engage in a
three-match ODI series against England on February 6, 9, and 12, serving as
crucial preparation. Additionally, a warm-up match in Dubai is scheduled ahead
of the tournament.
India's Champions Trophy campaign kicks off against
Bangladesh on February 20, followed by a high-stakes encounter with arch-rivals
Pakistan on February 23. The final group stage match is slated against New
Zealand, with all fixtures taking place in Dubai.
